The Handmade Fair (part 2)

The Handmade Fair (part 2)Did any of you make it to The Handmade Fair at Hampton Court Palace?

I headed down on the Sunday and can thoroughly recommend it as a great day out.

Obviously the prime attraction was Katie and the Busy Little Bee stand

Katie and her family traveled from France and had a fab corner stall in one of the two main tents. It was crowded but so lovely to see so many different handmade crafts packed in together.

There is so much to see and do at the fair. Once inside there were two tents devoted to the individual makers handicrafts, a tent for food makers, loads of food and drinks outlets and then the event tents for workshops and talks.

Some of the crafts were free or included in the ticket price, others you could buy tickets for. I made a little dot painting helped by the people at You Can Folk It.

And the food … have a mentioned the food! So many different stalls to choose from for you lunch. I had a stunning sweet potato curry from Coco Labelle –┬ánom nom nom.

So maybe we will see you there next year? A little bird has told me that BLB has booked a stand already ….
